This is the fifth annual Process Education Conference organized by the Academy of Process Educators.  The goal of these conferences is to share teaching/learning practices that support active learning and student-centered practices in higher education, to disseminate educational research on the impact of these practices, and to stimulate collaboration among a growing, interdisciplinary, and diverse community of educators committed to Process Education principles. The theme of the 2009 conference is measurement as a key to assessment and evaluation of complex student performance.

Abstract submission:

Please submit an abstract of 250-500 words which incorporates the following elements:

  • goal of the work

  • why the work is important to intended audience

  • methods used to perform the work

  • most important/relevant results/findings

  • session facilitation plan (workshop or paper only) including outcomes of the session for the intended audience
