Strategic planning is the Academy's process of defining its
strategy, or direction, and making decisions on allocating its
resources to pursue this strategy. While it is always our intention
to have a well-planned strategy, we also recognize that we have
an emergent strategy (observed pattern of activity) as the Academy
as an organization adapts to its environment and continues to
grow and evolve.
