Schedule
We will hold three separate sessions working on different measures in each session. Attend any or all (register for each session individually):
- Session 1: 9:30am-12:00pm Eastern (develop draft material for two mentoring skill measures)
- Session 2: 12:30pm-3:00pm Eastern (develop draft material for two different mentoring skill measures)
- Session 3: 4:00pm-6:30pm Eastern (develop draft material for two different mentoring skill measures)
Why?
Meaningful learning and fellowship always occur during these sessions. If you are like me, you value increasing your mentoring capability. If so, you will find significant personal value in participating in this workshop where you will help develop measures for these mentoring skills:

An example of the value generated at a prior workshop session: we worked on the skill of "describing performance". Those of us who participated made significant progress on what it really means to describe performance. We were able to clarify what is most important for that skill, such as how it can raise expectations, highlight the process of producing quality in a performance, and focus on growth opportunities for those participating in the performance.
Over the past 2-3 years, we have completed performance measures associated with 19 different mentoring skills and have draft material for 11 more (there are 38 in total). Join us and contribute to this effort!

Before the Session

- Review How to Develop Performance Measures (pdf) and write out 1-2 salient points or unanswered questions you have about the workshop.
