Strive for Quality: Aligning and Implementing Continuous Improvement in
Higher Education
|
“Think
Globally/Act Locally,” a slogan familiar to most of us, has increasing
relevance to the United States and to Higher Education in our
country. Because evidence of quality is the primary discriminator when
choices are made in a globally competitive marketplace, this
conference focuses on what constitutes and enhances quality throughout
an institution—in
classroom activities, course design, program outcomes, and
institutional culture. Continually improving is a core value of
Process Education and thus in perfect alignment with quality efforts.
Institutions now use technology to bring educational opportunities to
learners throughout the world; therefore, we need to assure that the
quality of all educational offerings elevate ours to be among the
first choices.
