What engaged or excited you most about learning when YOU were a student?

As a child, the times that I answered questions correctly when they were asked was exciting. As i progress through college, I was excited to learn how to take care of patients. This involved learning how the body worked and what I needed to do as a nurse to aid in keeping it working properly. When I became a student in the PhD program, excitement came when I could see self-growth that helped me to facilitate growth in my students and faculty.
