What engaged or excited you most about learning when YOU were a student?

The three major factors that engaged me most about learning when I was a student are as follows: teacher’s passion, active learning, and the ability to share with others what I had learned. I remember my teachers passion for making sure every student learned; teachers didn't teach a new objective until they knew we had mastered the previous one. Active learning, teachers got students involved with learning utilizing hands on projects. Also, I remember being excited to go home and share with my mother what I had learned. In conclusion, I utilize these same factors to engage my students in learning today.
