Come early to your session to check
AV equipment, introduce yourself to session the
session moderator or few audience members, etc.

Provide the audience with an
enlightening background summary that places the
paper in context and clearly articulates your
intended outcomes.

Discuss additional details which
clarify and expand on complex, controversial, or key
content of the paper. Please do not read or
reproduce parts of the paper for your audience.

Expect that your audience has already
read the paper.

Provide one or more reflective
opportunities for audience think in terms of how
they are personally achieving the outcomes
articulated earlier.

Plan for active learning that
provides feedback for you and your audience. You
can do this by preparing a set of questions and/or
an activity for your audience that will do one or
more of the following:
