LEARNING TO LEARN PROJECTS
We have created a new project to write a series of subject-based learning-to-learn books. The books include the list below. Please let dan@pcrest.com (Dan Apple) know if you're willing to commit to one of these projects or willing to host the initial offerings or serve as reviewers.

• The paper, Learning to Learn Engineering, by Tris Utschig, Mohamed El-Sayed, William Scheller II, Virgil Cox, Jim Morgan, S. Raj Chaudhury, Daniel Litynski, Steven Beyerlein, David Leasure, and Dan Apple was presented in October at the IEEE sponsored, Frontiers in Education 2018 conference.
• We are launching a new round of institutional recruitment for members of the Process Education Recovery Course Research Project. Please let dan@pcrest.com or david@pcrest.com know if you'd like your institution to be considered for this important research project. Our goal is to show the effectiveness of the Learning to Learn curriculum for students on probation or who have been dismissed. We would like to get 50 schools in the project for next year and, as they say, "seating is limited".
• The deadline for submission of abstracts to the Summer 2019 PE Conference is December 1st, 2018. For more information and to submit, please see the page for presenters on the 2018 PE Conference website.
• We endeavor to list all active research projects, but likely miss some. First, our apologies. Second, correct the problem by listing your project on Research Gate. First, register on the site researchgate.com and then drop david@pcrest.com a note to invite you to the PEARL -- Process Educators' Academy Research Laboratory
• If you want your publication referenced in a future newsletter, please drop me a note at david@pcrest.com. |
