Knut Are Romann-Aas (Academy webmaster) and Denna Hintze (Academy Comms) arranged and participated in the only Tesla Takedown demonstration in Norway on March 29. The Oslo newspaper Dagsavisen wrote about the demonstration after interviewing Knut Are and Denna. You can read it here: https://www.dagsavisen.no/nyheter/verden/2025/03/29/global-tesla-aksjon-har-truffet-norge/ (It is in Norwegian but the Chrome browser will let you translate it to English.)

Way to be out there standing up! Looks like you are on the early adopter side of this idea in Norway.
Thanks, Tris! Tesla is the most sold car in Norway. o.O It’s because Norway decided early to support electric vehicles and the government gave major subsidies and discounts for folks who bought Teslas…they weren’t more expensive than a regular (petrol) vehicle. And once the infrastructure is in place, there you have it. So in Norway, Teslas aren’t linked with Musk in most people’s minds; they’re simply affordable cars that are a good choice for the environment. What we really had to communicate is that if Musk didn’t own the brand, even WE would buy one. That there are more and more EV brands helps. So protesting Tesla in Norway is sort of like trying to empty a lake with a bucket. But we’re trying!! 🙂
Thanks for standing up! Team Norway Rocks!
