PE Professional Development for Growing Lead Facilitator Skills

Special Self-Growth Community Session, Wednesday, July 12th at 4 pm Eastern

This coming academic year, Pacific Crest will be implementing the next phase of its PE Expert Initiative. This is branded as a PE Lead Facilitator Certification program that will combine professional development associated with up to a dozen different PE Institutes along with weekly self-growth coaching. The goal of this program is to produce highly effective faculty leaders capable of facilitating significant change in multiple PE performance areas.

Each client will have a personalized Self-Growth Coach that will use the client’s current activities, job responsibilities, and campus special projects to increase their productivity, institutional impact, personal growth, and quality of life. Half-hour weekly coaching sessions will leverage the learning and growth acquired during institutes to increase their weekly reflection, growth plans, and weekly scripts so each week becomes more effective and efficient than the previous weeks by addressing both campus obstacles and personal impediments. Clients will become paid members of the Academy of Process Educators and will be supported by an online Self-Growth Community.

Please join us on July 12th for a ZOOM session that features: (i) a brief recap of the PE Expert Initiative that has extended over the last two years, (ii) a detailed overview of the PE Lead Facilitator Certification program, and (iii) a schedule for a set of Pacific Crest Institutes over the next academic year.

An email message about this session (with ZOOM information and link to Moodle Site with session resources) will be sent to all current members of the Self Growth Community in the vicinity of July 1. If you haven’t been getting email invites from this Google Group in the past and you would like to take part in the July 12th event, email Steve Beyerlein (sbeyer@uidaho.edu) to receive session logistics.

We look forward to your participation and your questions. These will help us make the next generation of the PE Expert Initiative even stronger!
